Calls for Contributions

In line with this year's theme, we invite workshop, lectures, and presentations that look into the role of deep-human competences in career development and counselling. Contributions can cover a wide array of questions and topics, e.g.,

  • how to promote or assess deep-human competences in clients or career practitioners
  • methods and techniques of career support that draw on deep-human competences
  • ethical, legal, and normative questions related to deep-human competences in career development and counselling


1. Call for Training Workshops (live / online)

Training workshops constitute a core element of the NICE Academies. Lasting 90 minutes each, they actively engage participants in individual reflection, educational exercises, group discussions, role-play, simulation, creative work, collaborative problem-solving, intervision, or other ways.

2. Call for Lectures (Paper Presentations, live / online)

Presentations of good practices or important research findings constitute an important part of NICE Academies. Lasting 30 minutes each (including 10 minutes of discussion), lectures inform participants about helpful approaches, materials, research findings (among others).

3. Methods & Research Market (Posters & Good-Practice Presentations, live only)

At the academy, we will have a gallery exhibition of innovative approaches to career guidance and counselling, the training of career practitioners, and relevant research. During this Methods & Research Market, we will take turns in presenting good and innovative practices and research findings to another in an interactive and informal manner.
Diverse presentation formats are invited, including posters, short films, short practice demonstrations...
